Our Packaging is Environmentally FriendlyThursday, February 26, 2009Print this ArticlePlastic films we use include - LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) or HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) - tough Co-Extruded multilayer Polyethylene films. The PP (Polypropylene) we use is a monolayer random co-polymer containing ethylene. We have an extensive raw material vendor base to satisfy your unique requirements. For recycling purposes: The LDPE is recycled with resin code number 4. The HDPE is recycled with resin code number 2. The PP is recycled with resin code number 5. The BIODEGRADABLE low density plastic film is engineered to break down after it has been in the ground from 9 months to a year. Until it has been buried in a landfill, it performs exactly the same as regular low density polyethylene with no compromise regarding strength. If desired, it can be recycled with resin code number 4 since it is LDPE. |
