Die Cut Handle Bags
Die cut handle bags are custom printed polyethylene bags used to carry merchandise, promotional literature, advertising specialties, trade show or convention items, etc. A hole is punched through both sides of the bag, typically near the open end, to allow an easy grip on the bag. The die cut hole can be reinforced by folding the plastic film, resulting in two layers for each side which increases the strength of the bag film in the handle area. The "race track" shape and 3.5" x 1" size of the die cut hole makes it easy for the user to grasp.
Vents, Door Knob Holes, Litter Bags and other Die Cut Punches:
Custom Poly Packaging has many options for making several sizes of round, die cut holes. From as small as 1/8" up to 3". The typical size for a die cut hole to hang on a door knob is 1" to 1.5" since the plastic film will stretch to accommodate the door knob.
A Litter Bag has a slit across the width of a bag that is closed on all four edges. The slit is positioned about 2" down from the "top" of the bag and a 1/2" to 3/4" hole punched through this 2" area above the slit. This way access can be gained to the interior of the bag through the slit while it is still hanging by the hole.
